I guess I am also going thru what yu are going thru. Have been feeling quite depressed lately and I know its not exactly Rishu. He has started craawling now and is all over the place. Am finding it hard to manage him all day and then do the house work. I guess I am bored with all the repititive work that I am doing i.e cooking, cleaning and so on. I now feel like relaxing a bit but rarely get the opportunity. When hubby was off for a week last week I got to relax and I did things that I want to do and that indeed felt nice. So, now I am feeling even more lonely at home.
Rishu is totally on BM and I am bored of that too. He totally refuses solids. After taking a break from solids for 3 weeks I tried giving him mashed banana yesterday but he didnt budge at all. Tried giving him Enfamil and he vomitted out 4 times with hives all over his body. So he has milk allergy too. Will this ever end and will I ever have a life of my own. I guess I just need a project or something which will give me some work satisfaction. Am feeling like a useless dud these days. Even screamed at hubby yesterday for no fault of his as I was so depressed. I dont feel like writing too as I keep everything inside me which is not good too.

I can understand how tough it is to do repetitive work and having none other than Rishu all day long to interact. I would only say that you have to keep the faith.

Why haven't you still seen a baby-sitter for Rishu? I know you had been looking, so haven't you zeroed on anyone? Even if its just about 2 hours a day, why don't u do it, so that you can get a break?

And when are you coming to India? I think thats what you need now - people round and they can take care of Rishu and you can get some time for yourself.

You need to also do something about his solids intake... I know that you have tried everything... just hoping something will work out... doesn't he eat even when P tries to feed?

Did you check with the doc if you can give Enfamil? Rishi also does not eat and if he sees me, its only BM that he wants and gets frustrated coz he is hungry and my milk is not sufficient... last night was real bad, he did not eat anything after lunch and I fed him twice at night which was not enough for him and had a very disturbed sleep. Donno how I am gonna manage him in the train tonight...
