This is Shannu here..... I had my blood sugar tested this Sat...The results came in today and I realised that I have a high level of Sugar..... So I have been called for a 3hr test again. Am very much worried abt the same. I am not that a sweet eater....But I do have a Diabetic background. Think thats the reason thats causing this.....
I am so worried abt what the Doc has got to say...... Does anyone among U have this problem with Sugar level...If S what has the Doctor told U???? Is it some thing that we have to consider real serious...Do mail me.....

Roma replied. In my case my doctor had tested me in 12th week as I told her my family has diabetes. Unfortunately it turned high and had to go thru 3 hr test. In that too 1 reading was high out of 4. In most cases that is acceptable but in my case as it was very early I was asked to visit dietician and monitor blood sugar daily. I am doing that now and watching carefully what I eat. Its not only sweets that cause this, even regular food like rice , chapati,dal have to be limited. As they all have carbohydrates. Hope your test is -ve. If you need further info , write to me .

Sorry i cudn't reply to u earlier, I was away the whole weekend and y'day i had a lot of pending work.

Its very sad to know abt ur GTT, I haven't got my results yet, but I have heard if ur from diabetic bg, then there is a lot of possibility, Nobody is diabetic in mine, but still I am worried.
But actually, its not a srisky as high BP, so keep ur cool. My very close friend had high amounts of gestational diabetes, she gave birth a to 7.2lbs baby and both of them rfine. its just that ur u have to eat a sugar free diet and thats not easy. Especially Indians, we eat so much rice and wheat, which is nothing but carbohydrates. Apart fromt hat, I have heard from my friend that whenever she exercised, her blood sugar level was under control, so try ti increase ur activity.

I hope ur 3 hr GTT test turns negative, even if it doesn't don't worry, u wil sail thro' it just fine.
