Hey Ladies... hope everything's well with y'all. I just completed 22 weeks and am happy with life right now. Anyways, the main purpose of this post is to find out if anyone is planning on attending childbirth classes in Fremont?

I had also put up a post earlier regarding the Bay Area folks getting together. Please send me an email if you ladies are upto it. Looking forward to hearing from you!!!

Thanks for writing in, lets plan on meeting sometime next week, at about 6-6:30 at a Starbucks convenient to all of us. I live in Fremont and Tuesday/Wednesday are great for me.

How are you? Read in one of your posts that you are busy at work. Hope this is not for long. Since you are in 23rd week you must have already had your detatiled U/S. How was it? How much time does it take? Mine is scheduled for the next month. I am exactly a month behind you(EDD Dec 10th). Had my AFP test last week. I will know the results next week. waiting on that.

Hi Arshiya,
Good to hear that everything went on well with your AFP & U/S. Maybe baby wants to keep secret from you about its sex. That's why it was not moving to face you.:) Did you want to find out baby's sex?

Regarding me, I am doing fine except that I am not as energetic as I should be in the second trimester. I have energy only in the mornings. In the evenings it feels like all my energy is drained out, I cannot even sit, I have to lie down. All I do at home is cooking & cleaning the kitchen in the afternoon. Apart from this I don't have energy to do anything. I am not sure if it is due to the heat outside or just plain laziness:). I want to go for walks in the evenings but I don't have energy.
Whenever I have to go out in the evenings I take a nap in the afternoon for 3-4 hrs & then I am ok for the evening.
How much wt did you gain ?
Till now (17weeks) I have gained 6 lbs. All in the last 5 weeks.
My tummy has started showing. Anyone can make out that I am expecting.

How are you? Well, ya I am very busy at work now. I did have my detailed U/S 2 weeks b4. It was great, but baby wasn't moving at all. The lady wanted to show me his/her face, but baby was so stubern that even after shacking for a long time, he/she wouldn't wanna show face. he/she was facing towards my back only. It took us almost 1 hr. Don't worry about ur AFP, it would be normal. Mine was done last month and it's normal.

hi radhika,
everything is fine with me and I have also just completed my 22nd week. I have an appt. this friday with my doc, thatswhen I will find out about classes and stuff. My doc is in freemont but I will be taking classes in san ramon / pleasanton area, since my hospital is there. If you are going to washington hospital, you might find some classes there only.
Also, we can all definately get together sometime. But, I am not sure how many are there from bay area? Also, I work so, I can only meet in the evenings.

This to inform all of you that we became proud parents of a baby girl on 28/10/04 at 1.15 pm through normal delivery. She came one week early. MY EDD was NOV 5th.
