Due Date Club December 2007:Hi all....

Name: Asha

Hi everybody,

I am 28 weeks pregnant now and my due date is Dec 21st. I have been constantly reading the posts here but never wrote anything till now. I have also acquired lots of knowledge on many different things from your posts and suggestions and it' s grt to see so many of you here. I have a question to all of you. I am getting lots of heat rashes on my face and body especially neck, shoulders and upper back region. Also getting lots of pimples on my face which never has happened before. Some people say it' s due to heat in my body and doctor says it' s due to hormonal changes in my body. I don' t know if it' s also due to some food that I am taking which is not suitable to my body. I need some suggestions from you people how I can control this.

Thanks,

Asha

hi Asha,
Drink lots of water atleast 6 to 8 glasses.Always make ur room cool.If u r taking nuts such as almond , soak in water overnight,it produces lots of heat when taken directly. If u r taking saffron, take only few.Don' t go out in sun ie between 10 AM & 4 PM

Thanks for your advice. I was not aware that almonds and saffron cause heat. I will follow your suggestions and hope and I can get rid of my rashes.

I' m from feb board. It is bad to know your condition. It can be hormones or heat. Take cooling stuffs daily like yogurt, grapes, methi, etc. Avoid soap on the rashes, use besan or green gram powder instead and see. Don' t go out in sun and use sunscreen lotion if you do.

My son also had the same problem his legs used to shiver my doc said it is due to calcium defieciency b.coz I was calcium deficient. She gave him a tonic for 2 mnths it cured after that. The reason why ur baby' s leg is shivering may be this. Plz contact ur doc and take necessary steps as soon as possible.... - Sahila Gupta [View Message]

Not to worry
If you want a normal delivery, ask your doc first to try vaginal delivery if not then go for forceps delivery where baby can taken out with the help of tongs...
