Hi, We are going under treatment for not conceiving.I had a miscarriage last year (2008) after that we are not able to conceive again. The doctor we are seeing has done all step by step process which were all fine till my EB done last month result for that is +ve and I have been diagnosed with endometrial tuberculosis and for this medication is now started, it will last for six months. Now doctor is asking me to undergo a tube test, my last tube test was in Oct 2007 and which was good that time, so is it right to go again for this test? Secondly, is it possible to concieve during this medication or go for an IUI. Will be very thankful if some one can advise on this.

Since you are taking treatment for E tuberculosis it wont be wise to get concieved.Since the treatment regiment for TB is medicines which are very strong and if concieved can cause trouble for the baby. TB endometrium can cause tubal blockage, and it is advisable to check for tube blockage.But i have no idea whether this is the time to do it or not.

Hi Aisha, thanks for your reply, but my doctor told me that there is no harm if you get conceived during EB treatment.I agree medicines are very strong.Lets hope all goes well.
