Hi all,

Thanks for your wishes..
Today my baby \";Arnnav\"; is 5 days old.
I was due on 30 oct but he came early thanks to him now I don't have anymore pupps itching.
I was supoosed to go for my first internal yesterday.No dilation was there but on thursday morning at 3.30 am my water broke.So we reached the hospital at 4.30 .We were not prepared so took longer.You can't beleive on 8 oct was my huby's birthday so went out for shopping alone that day and we went out for dinner and movie .
We saw freaky friday and came back at 11.30 pm.At 3.30 my baby started to come out :)
When i reached there I was only 1 cm Dilated.So doc. asked to wait till it reaches 10 cm .
I got epidural at 9 AM when it was 3cm.
Then we waited till 4.15 and it was 10 cm dilated.
So started pushing at exact 5 PM I was holding my cutie pie.It was such a wonderful experience that i was joking to my huby now I want many babies...:)
then I stayed at hospital till sat afternoon.I am just having lil breastfeeding problem.so I am trying with breastpump.Me and my huby are taking care of everything since no one is here with us.
But really it is not so hard ( I mean labour and delievery) and beleive me when u have a bundle of joy in your arms you will just forget every problem u had before.Whenever I see him I just think is he the same who was inside me HA!!
My huby is taking care of him so much that he says u don't take care of him well...
Whenevr he( my huby) sleeps he takes arnav towards him and hold him all thru the night...

I am so happy to be with him and Arnav..

Take care u all ..and don't feel frustated with any health problem if u have any now beacuse in the end u will forget everything when u have a baby...

Congrats..nikki. Hope all of us also end up having delivery unexpectedly like u, beleive me waiting is difficult. :)
Don't worry about being alone, its a different kind of pleasure to learn being a parent, will definitely get u two closer trying to find ways of dealing with baby care.

1st of all congrats on having ur lil boy..I am so happy for u..i was really scared regarding labor & delivery but after reading ur experience i got some hope even i can manage as i am due tomm...i am still crossing my finger if i can go on my own else i need to be induced on satur...hey dont worry regarding breastfeeding,intially it will take quite time to get used to it...husband's r the biggest help even if u have someone to help u out..now that itz only u & ur husband u will have lot of fun in bonding with Arnav..so enjoy the motherly experience....i wish even i will post a easy labor expreince..wish me luck...kisses to arnav

Ashra Lakshmi replied. How wonderfully you've written about the little one Nikki. I am due this sat (18th) but the baby seems to be so comfortable inside, no signs of coming out yet, but after reading your expereincing, I just can't seem to wait anymore.. when oh when????
