Dear all,

Long time since I posted soemthing new, so just wanted to share Rishi's update with you all.

Rishi has started saying \";atha\"; \";thatha\"; since he completed 7 months (14th of this month). He started exactly on that day and I was so thrilled. But now its only \";athathathatha....\"; all the time that it's tearing our eardrums :-)

When we carry him, he just climbs on us like climbing a tree and holds our hair so tight it hurts. Am losing all my hair now :) and when I call him, he can just jump on me from whoever is holding him :) makes me feel really special but I feel my mom and his dad are always one step more special to him than me!

He hates eating his cerelac and kanji and loves to BF, eat banana, apple, soups and juices. Feeding 3 scoops of cerelac is a huge task now. He purses his lips tight and hits the spoon with his hand and even spits the food. I have a feeling he is gonna be a tough adamant kid, donno how to deal with it. It is very early to start disciplining right? or is it too late? Whatever when we scold him, he understand and he will be quiet for a while and wait for us to smile :)

He looks skinny only but hyper-active - wants to be on the floor always going from one room to another, from under the dining table to the door mat! He breaks all the toys that I get for him, he took off the trunk of an appu elephant toy and its eyes too!

About me, I have started exercising and want to reduce some weight atleast. Komal are you exercising for sister's shaadi? Also started fighting with Shyam very often. My mom is mad at me for that, but what to do. He is so damn busy at office and I am fed up. Ok, some questions:

Are you all giving your kids any multi-vitamin drops?

Are you all still taking your prenatals? I have stopped taking them since Rishi was one month old - know that its too early, but didn't feel like taking them with his Ca level complications and all that!

I am itching around my sutures for the past 3 days and its very sore there. This happens every now and then. Is it normal?

Is it ok to start with toned milk after the baby completes 8 months?

Do you potty-train them?

For US moms - Are the bouncers/gym/mobile still useful? Do they play in/with them?

Embarassing last one:- I have reduced BF now and do only thrice a day and twice at night. I find my breasts have sagged a lot and also am not able to wear my pre-preg bras. Is this normal?

Exercisig? i must ask wht is that? i m too lazy for anything, veen to eat..Sri scolds me all the time for not having fruits and milk..
I have stopped taking the prenatals and I m nto giving any vitamins to Sid too..Now that he eats cereal and takes formula ,so i dont think thats necessary
I'll try to potty train him when in india,i havent started the process, though.
Sid doesnot sit in his bouncer any more, but he uses it to help him stand.Use pakad ke khada ho jatha hai.We converted his play gym into a tent and he crawls in and out of it..
Sid too drinks milk abt 4-5 times,do baar tho raath ko pitha hai..I think u will fit into the pre-preg bars once u wean him.I m not sure though..
