Avi, I am in the same boat as you. Doc will check on 13th and tell how things look. The baby is not showing any signs of wanting to come yet but rest assured the baby will be here in the next two weeks, as they won't let November past ...so keep the faith.

Vidhya, contractions are good sign, though even I don't feel them everyday, so don't worry about it. Must be reassuring to hear the baby's heartbeat. As for baby getting ready in position, I'm sure it will happen when the baby is ready. It can happen so quick that your doc can't predict!

Hi Avi and Vidhya. I go to the doc on thursday and she will tell me what date she will book me in for induction at the hospital, in case labour doesn't start before. Was watching discovery health, babes of the wood, where the water was broken by the doc, the sound of pain, scared me! But then within an hr the woman delivered. So mixed feelings about induction. Let's hope we all avoid it.
Vidhya, though towards the end, I'm praying u have a Nov baby too that too the natural way.

Hi Simmi,

Hope the baby drops, gets it's head engaged, our cervix thins, dilation starts, real contractions begin, rush to the hospital, we are asked to push and finally hold our babies in our arms. It's funny that the first in the list hasn't started yet. Good luck to all of us.

I am sure you all will be November moms, that's the advantage of having a due date in the middle:)
