I have seen most of the babies with rashes, even my daughter Trisha has. If i stop applying Aveeno soothing relief moisture lotion then u can seee the rash back.
Try not to change the soap. My ped always says no soap is better than Cetaphil.
Also, one thing i personally noted was, try to control kissing ur babies cheeks. that will help a lot coz i guess most of ur dont wash their lips after taking small small snacks.

my 11 month son also gets this rashes on cheeks now then n sometimes on body too. I use Cetaphil insted of soap as its freagrence free n ideal for senstive skin ..u can try using EUCERIN or Cetaphil lotion to Mosiureis his skin this will help in keeping away dreyneess.
Hetal replied. hi ramya,
it might be because of some food, you might be taking if you are bf or some food you feed,if at all you have started solids.. try changing foods like cheese, nuts, garlic or ne strong foods, in your diet,,,or some allergy due to some chemical used pretty often around ur household.
also, since they are red in color and rough to touch, may be just the body heat due to summer, often known as seasonal rashes or to be specific, summer rashes or may be just prickly heat.
Powders are unlikely to help treat heat rash and should be stored out of reach of the infant or baby under 2 years, to prevent accidental inhalation. Avoid ointments and creams because they tend to keep the skin warmer and block the pores..thereby it wont heal, but it will infact clog them.
the good way to deal with rashes, keep them clean, keep them airy (open) and avoid itching or ne irritants.a lightest moisterisor is better than ne heavy cremes.
i might sound abit against dr, but its natural therapy and a cure for ne skin rashes.
a drop of dettol in baby bath tub of water, might help. for nirja, it worked for her knee rashes, when she started crawling !
check for these things, c if it makes ne difference :
laundry detergents - minimise use.my dd nirja was sensitive to dreft for her first 3 months,,then she was fine !
soap - some babies arent good with j&j too.i use dove for nirja in winters and j&J now in summers.
shampoo - try changing it & c if it works.
ne fragrance you are using at home,or your clothes,, shut it off for a while and c..
also change the pillow cover, crib cover,,2-3 times in week..c if that works,or ne toy that she plays often, wash them with water, or sanitise them with purell or clorox anywhere hardsurface spray, every night or once they fall from your son hand..
since the rash is coming and goin, its surely because of some ongoing chemical or that is used once a while in your houehold..catching it is difficult and curing will not work, as it will keep coming !
again, after all that,,at 4th month, baby have rashes on their nose sides or chins, thighs,or neck, which is just normal,,they are maturing to next stage is often seen in many babies at every 3-4 months or by the end of 1 year...
also, check for your sons' nails, a 4 month old knows how to rub his hands on his face,,if he has started tummy time, clean his hands often...
still if it continues for more than 1 month, would say take a second opinion from some other dr or dermi dr (skin dr )
hope ths ws helpful.

hi,
i understand wat is goin on,,with family its challenging to do work on time. i experienced it lately at my visit to my aunts place. my uncle is pretty old and was tough with nirja, handling hospital visits, their big house and my old uncle with diabetes. It was a good experience though was tough than i actually expected..
a rule saves my life all the time "i like cooking, but not being in the kitchen, i like homemaking but not the time i spend after it"...
hope you got my point.

Hetal, you write good.how do you know things in detail.
how are you able to get tht much time. i can hardly manage to cook 2 times with inlaws chakkar and all.
I am not saying this to pass a word on you but i have seen your post in other websites too and i was wondering how much time it took me to type my own message or read it.somewhere you also mentioned this is your profession..
do they pay you for that ??
i will not spend time if neone is not paying me.
please do not take me wrong but would be appreciate if you feel free in sharing your whole days schedule. i read somewhere you cook 3 times in one of site and in that i see you give nirja all diff foods.
please share, how are you able to possibly do that.after cooking for family of 4, i can hardly manage to do any thing else for my baby.and in that my mother in law keeps telling me that i didnt do something properly.
ne tips for speedy housekeeping/kitchen, will appreciate and will be great.
and by that u will be helping in making my mil happy so please do share.
thanks & regards.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
