Sleeping:Playing nighttime games

Hello everyone,
I have a little girl who is 18 months old. She is sleeping 2 naps during the day and I put her to bed at 8 o'clock.

Just in the past week, I carry her to bed, she is half asleep, as I lay her down, she starts screaming loudly. I feel guilty and I take her back to my arms and hold her...she starts laughing, I try again the next 15 minutes, she cries again and I take her and she laughs...

Is this something I am doing wrong. I feel like a bad MOmmy if I let her scream. Have I made a mistake somewhere?

Please help me,
Thank you in advance,
Mrs. Krishnan

you should let your baby screm for a while. only then she will learn. it is hard to do but u must teach her. she is only screaming becuase she knows u will pick her up. when she sees that u wont pick her up she will stop screaming.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
