Dear All,

I am worried because I was not able to sense any baby movement inside my tummy since the last 12 hrs.Normally 6-8 times in an hour my little one moves/kicks etc. Surprisingly today there is no movement at all. Whenever I take something chill inside,like a glass of chilled water or some sweetened syrup/juice,normally I get some response.

Is it normal - the baby not moving since long time?

I am a 1st timer,so i am not sure if everything is ok.

Hi Anu,

In this stage, how do you differentiate between baby kicking and baby rolling?
Most of us just feel the jerks now.

how many weeks u r upto? last week i completed 20 week checkup. do you know ur baby sex?
about baby kicking i guess when baby kicks so hard in early stage then what wud happen in third trim when it becomes bigger.
I dont know about my jerks.... is that kicking or what
i am so confused...

hi Anu,
its been long time we talked... My movements are also not regular, 1 day i feel regularly , other day i dont feel anything. I decided not to worry , otherwise I wud b tensed everyday. I have left everything to GOD.
Some time I feel jerks in my lower abdomen. How do you know that whether baby moving or it is kicking?

Seems the little one had a nice tight sleep by the day time.Yesterday night I couldnt sleep for about 3 hrs with its strong kicks lol. :)) its a different sensation while the kid keeps kicking some 16-18 times an hour,not getting proper sleep :)
