I' m hoping someone can help me? I had a tubal reversal in June of 08.A recent hsg was inconclusive that one or both of my tubes are blocked.Has anyone had a guided wire hsg and if so how much was it and what were your findings?

Dear,
Even I face bilateral tubal block. I underwent hystrolap now but nothing happened.Not able to open the tubes.
My doc says that even if they open the blocked tubes get blocked soon after some months.
HSG is sometimes correct as the x ray clearly shows how the dye flows through the tubes but sometimes mistakes also happen in HSG like the dye flows little slowly than the other tube and doc indecates its blocked. My hsg report says my tubes are open but my laparoscopy say its blocked????!!!! Confusion…
Still I believe you may take another hsg test with doc advice as you go for lapro its going to cost a lot

i have a same problem as urs. my suggestion is u go for ivf rather than testing and especially lapro. i undergone with lapro and then 5-6 times iui with dr abha majumdar delhi nothing happened and then she told me for ivf. some very senior docs said that lapro even has some side effects and the tubes create problem very soon. so my opinion is u directly go for ivf.
