Hi Archies,

I have been living in US for almost 8 years now. Well adjusted to US climate. When I visit back home (india), I always get sick either due to some kind of infection or some thing else.

I am planning to travel in my 5 th month of pregnancy. What precautions should I take?

I am little worried when I think about getting sick in India in this condition.

Today i am starting my 13th week. U/s came out normal. Rest is normal too..

Please advice.

Dear Rashmi,
If you have history of hitting troubles after entering India I would remind you to think before travelling especially while pregnant.

If you plan to deliver baby in India then you will need to travel, but if you want to visit family/relatives I would recommend to have it on hold until your baby is delivered and is 3 months old, by that time he has his first immunization given and better to cope up with crisis.
