PJP i hope you can help me with my query. i'm not satisfied with my current skin colour - whaeatsih - as i look like a typical pakistani girl. at birth, i was very fair and i want to re-gain that colour again. i have been applying honey-lemon on a regular basis for approximately one month.. should i consider using a fairness cream as well?

don't get me wrong.. i am OK about my skin colour but wish for it to be a few shades lighter. i really really hope you can help me - your contribution to this message board is so useful, i hope you can do the same for me too.

hi lala,

first of all please give me the privilege to thank you.

lala, indeed i have suggested many people with sanwali skin to apply honey and lemon. but the process is really very slow. the other alternative are aloe vera application, a massage with tomato juice & curd. this shoould lighten your skin to some extent. but i do suggest that you go to a very reputed beauty salon and do a bleach and facial at regular intervals of time. this works, because i have seen many dark complexioned people turn slightly fairer. but make sure you go to a very reputed beauty salon- they can be slightly expensive, but worth it. the small timers can be inexpensive but not worth the money.

dear lala,

dont you worry. we will use things from the kitchen shelf. mix tomato juice and curd and apply every morning. at night extract of aloe vera and rinse off in the morning. this will make the skin fairer a shade or two. wait till you grow up and go get one salon treatment done. or save your bucks from now and you will have enough by the end of the year.

thanks for the advice.. but im only 15! i don't have the money to go to a reputed beauty salon. are there any other techniques i can use at home which are easy and don't burn a hole in my pockets?
