Hi friends

I was wondering when i should start shopping for my baby...though i dont know the gender...there must be some basic things that i need to keep ready na....i wanted to know if all of u have started shopping already...and what all should i buy...i also was confused as to whether i should buy a baby cot or the old traditional \";jhula\"; would be good...will that be easier for me to put the baby to sleep at night? i also dont know if i should buy some woollen clothes as april would be really very hot here in ahmedabad...and the nappies and other stuff how many to buy?...

i dont know if i sound stupid here...thinking of buying everything so soon...but i was wondering whether we will be able to do shopping at a later stage...wont we get tired easily then...

so guys...pls help me out...do let me know what have u bought already...what u are planning to buy and when? some stuffs seem so fancy that we are tempted to buy but arent useful at all...so pls. let me know what u think are necessary stuffs...

Thanks in advance...
bye and take care....
Luv to all the cute babies...

hi vk

see - in my personal opinion dont buy nappies now - it will b good if we use the recent ones for the new borns. if we buy now - it will remain idle for 4 months - without our knowledge there may be some small insects coming and sitting on the same - however safe we preserve it - including safe i am saying.

for the initial days - i think jhula shd be more ok - it need not be a traditional one - something similat to jhula - even the one that is available in the steel in the market with beds- kids would like the swinging movement - rather than to be placed idle at a place - if u buy a cot - there will b no chance for oscillation at all.

all these are my personal opinions da. actually what u can do now is - go out with ur hubby and do a window shopping first - tell him that these r ur choices - so that later if u feel very tired or if u cant make it up - then he can go buy those which u both have already agreed upon.

then hows ur work going on da? wats ur plan for the new year? advanced new year wishes.

with affn

Subject:  Hi saradha...

Thats very right about the nappies that u said...saradha...i should be buying it later...and there is nothing like choice in it...so even hubbies can buy it anytime...hehehe..and about the jhula i also thought so...my sis told me that the moving one would make the baby sleep faster...so i could have less sleepless nights...but then again wont the baby outgrow the jhula soon?...but still i think i should go for the jhula only....

i was thinking of going for window shopping today as u suggested...but my bad luck...today, Jan 1, has been the worst beginning of a year and birthday (hey its my birthday also today...)for me ever...i had a lot of work to do...couldnt finish in time...worked till late in the evening ...thus all my plans for a great outing flopped...m at home...staring at the computer like any other day :(...anyways waiting for the beautiful day to come...what else can i say....

u tell me...hows ur work going on...must be on leave na...and having a good time with hubby...hes back na from abudhabi...My new year wishes to u and ur family...and a special wish with kisses to the cutie pie...

Miss u on chat...do come online soon...

Bye and take care

Luv,
VK.

Dear VK,
second trimester is the best for shopping since you will be in full energy now. But for me, I haven't even thought of shopping now. I intend to do it in my 7th or 8th month only.
I think you need to buy some warm clothes fro your baby even if its april bec' babies feel more cold than us and in case if it rains.....so you must have a few warm clothes....I don't have any idea about nappies yaar..I think u'll need alot......more than the clothes you could buy blankets, bedsheets, etc for the baby.

Bye bye
