Hi All,
How are you doing? HOpe you are all doing well..I am in my 29th week now and I feel sooo tired. I come home from work lie down and am knocked out..take a 1 hour nap.

My husband is so helpful, he has been helping manage the house...and lately I do not feel like cooking. I just eat and afterwards lay down to fall asleep for the night! Are any of you feeling the same way..I don't know what is happening lately...feel so tired/lazy all the time.

Take care.
Love,
RITU

Hey there....
Ritu....U R not alone....am in the 25th week and I too feel just the same as U do except for the fact that am not working...... The best U can do is to keep the spirits high..... A few more counts and then we have the result we have been waiting for..... I try the max not to sleep when I have had enough sleep the prev night... Sleeping more causes me to B too lazy.... I agree with smith and AB abt there Suggestions....... Dont worry and U will feel much better much soon. Ok? Take care dear and B happy...
Shannu

Hi Ritu and Smita.
Tiredness increases more if u think we r supposed to be tired in 3rd trimester. Think positive, the secret is to think we r feeling good, how can we do that? start ur day early, Do not lie in the bed and laze around for long time, Do ur mild stretch exercises, have a warm shower and then cook all that u love eating, Mind u now is the only time u can cook what u want, even if it needs a lot of effort, fom feb, u'll be completely tied with ur baby, diapering, feeding - cycle.
If u r pious, spend few minutes with god, Listen to slokas.
Have a fulfilling breakfast, relax, Watch TV or read magazines. Forget u r carrying extra weight- Feel Active...Do ur daily exercises, walking tread mill anything,Remember to drink atleast 2 litres of water everyday, I drink abt 250 mil 8 times a day. have ur dinner early by 6:30 - 7:00. retire to bed by 9:00/9:30. Believe me, this makes me feel healthy and fit throughout the day.
Enjoy ur pregnancy- keep telling urself u r not tired, we have another 12 weeks to go, if u start feeling queasy now, then it becomes a mountainous task...

SO CHEER UP!!

Hi ritu,

I can indeed understand what ur going thru...I am currently in my 26th week, and am not working....and very much at home...Thankfully I have people at home to attend to cooking and other chores...despite all this i feel really exhausted quite often...more so during the evenings...when i feel as if i am totally sapped out of all my energy..I think it is but natural for us to feel this way during the last trimester...
I think the best way to deal with it is by taking it in your stride...I think exhaustion and tiredness will b our pals in the next 2-3 months....:)
Dont worry abt it..bcoz i guess...finally its all worth it to see ur little one in ur arms....
take care,
lots of luv,
smitha
