Diet and Exercise:No Morning sickness :-?

Hi,
I had recently missed my period and to confirm my pregnancy took a home test. To my delight, it was positive.:-)) And if I consider this result true, I've completed 7 weeks already. But my worry is, unlike other expecting moms, I'm not experiencing any kind of nausia. No vomitting, no dizziness and nothing. Is it normal? Please give your advice. Thanks.

Hi nan,
I am in my 12th week and have never had morning sickness. No nausea and no vomitting. Only if there is any strong smell i feel like vomiting. But that too was not there till 8 weeks coz only after 8 weeks did i knew that i was pregnant and i dint have the sligtest clue till then. There is nothing to worry if there is no vomitting or nausea or dizziness. Its jus that we r lucky. It is perfectly normal. There are other symptoms like tenderness in the breasts and felling tired often. But according to me i think its early for u to even notice these. Some do have it in the 5th week though... Depends... Don't worry and enjoy ur pregnancy.

All the best
Rhea

diet during pregnancy
Maintaining a healthy diet during pregnancy is very important.

During this time, your body needs additional nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

In fact, you may need 350–500 extra calories each day during the second and third trimesters.

A diet lacking in key nutrients may negatively affect the baby’s development.
