Hi everyone,

I had a baby boy on 07/25/01 at 3:54pm. He weighs 7lbs 14oz and 19.5 inches long. He is a perfect little darling. My labor was induced by breaking my bag of waters at 9:00am on wednesday morning and labor was became very intense with contractions coming every 1-2 mins lasting for more than a minute. I was ready to push at 1:00pm, and i had to push for 3.5 hours and since his head was big they had to use a forcep. I had a big episiotomy and a few internal tears. i feel a lot better today, still unable to sit. Nursing was no fun initially but i'm getting the hang of it with the help of lactation consultants and my mom. still suffering with sore & cracked nipples. Hope all of you are doing good. belly-rubs to you all and hugs & kisses to all of your little angels.

With Love,
Vidhya & Rohit.

Hey Vidhya, I am sure u must be so much busy with ur baby & recovery but now its going to be my turn for the big day after 15days & i am so scared. I need to know ur experience which might help me get confidence. So did u take epidurel? Is it necessary to take it? Did u have a good experience if u have taken it? When they induce what is the method they used for u/did they give some tablet to eat or just applied some gel? How was the dr's support during delivery? In india they dont take husbands along but here they do come/ so do u think His support is most important that time or its okey even if he is not in? Pls let me know all this whenevr possible. I am very scared for the epidurel. I only dream of a normal natural delivery but i guess ive to be prepared.........Take care & love to ur little Rohit.

Stem cell banking on with life cell
yes Life cell is the best, when ourbabygirl was due in Feb 2011 we shortlisted Lifecell after meeting Cyrobanks, Relicord, Babycord etc. Cyrobanks are thugs they promise you the moon and also there is no indian hand in this company so we can' t rely on them at all. Relicord is good but the offers have so much marketing gimmicks. Other players lacks either the technical inf... - CK [View Message]

Good Gynae in Dwarka
Hi

I am new to dwarka and want to know if there is any good doctor having her clinic here (I expect them to be visiting some good hospotal).

I know some good doctors in gurgaon like Dr Chetna Jain (Columbia Asia), Dr Manvita (Max).

but can anybody suggest someone in dwarka as gurgaon would be far for emergency situations.
