2day had my 38th week appt,it went ok..happy part was hearing the heart beat ,regained my weight,BP normal..sad part was Group B Strep positive(will be given atibotic during labor :-( which will make me more sick)also having yeast infection.still my cervical progress is same with 1 cm & 50% effaced..now that i am having more & more pressure on my back & pelvic area i want this bean to come right now..i guess GBS + is normal wut do u girls say??

Glad to know about all the good news..don't worry about the GBS, its a precaution to avoid baby from getting infections, don't think antibiotics will hurt, may make u a bit weak later whic in any case u will be resting..so u should be fine. so also yeast infection, could be becoz of the increased discharge.
Did the doctor say how long he expects labour to begin this time? Its difficult to wait when u do have discomforts..enjoy the time with ur aunt and take rest. Guess everyone of us are impatient as dates are coming closer, last month is always slowest..u just have another 2 weeks max to wait for and i sure with all the pain u already facing u may not have to wait that long..

Avi(Nov board) replied. Hey Ashra, glad to hear that everything went well except for the Group B test... So sorry to hear about it..

I tested positive in my first trimester (they were testing my urine for a UT infection and found it).. I had to oral antibiotics then and was told that I need to be on antibiotics during labor...

I would say dont worry about it too much... As long as they use the antibiotics during labor everything should go smoothly..
