My daugter is still having consti. She does not pass stool for 3 days and on 4th days she starts straing a lot and cries. Anyone having the same problem ???

Hi Neetu,
I tried CK's advice that really works...also its fine if she is only on BM as long as 1 year...thats what my Dr said...My son is also almost on BM and he is ok...weight gain is better than expected...Love to ur lil one..

hi Neetu
Same thing happened with my son. What my doctor recommended and what i did was give prune juice. Buy any prune juice that is 100% juice (no artificial flavouring) and mix 1 ounce of prune juice with 2 ounces of water. When i gave this to my son he was able to have a soft stool movement that very same day...so now whenever he gets constipated i gave him a couple of spoons of prune juice. prune juice is also good for health in general. let me know if it works.

Subject:  Warm Bath



When my daughter gets constipated, while giving bath I fill her bath tub with warm water and let her sit in that for 5 mintues. It helps, try that out.

Also stop solids for couple of days, let her just have milk. If required u can give water too.

Did u talk to the doctor? What did he say? Let me know what happens.

I do not think prune juice is available here in India(Karnataka). My doc says to increase her semisolid food to liquid food. so to give more solids . But she is reluctant to eat anything except dal-rice and papaiya that I giving her since long. she just wants my milk.
