Hi girls,
Let me first wish all the Nov moms good luck for a painless and safe delivery. I guess you all remember me. I'm doing good with my twin babies. I have successfuly entered my 36th week of pregnancy after a big struggle. My doctor has scheduled a c-section in my 37th week. So just one more week to go. She told me that if i go into labor before the scheduled date, she would even try for a normal delivery else she would go for a c-section. I'm just waiting for the D-day. In 34 weeks, i had minor contractions and i was in the hospital for just one day. They put me in the moniter and gave medications for 2 more weeks to stop any further contractions. From today they have stopped those medications as 36 weeks itself is considered as full term for twins. I also experienced a new problem during my 33rd of pregnancy. Overnight i was attacked by facial paralysis also called as BELL's PALSY. It is caused by 7th nerve from our brain. Left side of my face was totally numbed. I have sense but i cannot blink my eyelids, close my eyes completely, lift or shrink my eyebrows, shrink my left side nose and the worst is i cannot even give a complete smile. There was no pain in my face but behing my left ear where the nerve starts i had hectic pain. Worst of all is there is no western medicine for this palsy. If i were not pregnant they would have given me steroids if the attack was very bad. But fortunately mine was a mild one. My doctor told me this is common in third trimester of pregnancy. But it comes only for one in 10000 women. I became one among them. She also added that it should dissappear after delivery. So i'm just waiting for the day to get relieved from all these pains. Since there is no western treatment, i ordered an ayurvedic oil and started applying in my face for the past 2 weeks. There is a great relief for me from ear pain. But still i have the numbness. Hope everything dissappears after my delivery. This is my story friends.

how u handal all this? their is inside twins so more unconfortable. but u hv to go for once and u r a mom of two so excited. at my first time baby my hubby told me that if v hv a twins than it`s very good u do not hv to suffer two time but twins is once in while only. u r lucky and now one more week so do not worry take rest more as u can because after ward u do not hv a time for relex too. busy in two.

So sorry to haar about the paralaysis but like doc said it goes after delivery so hang in there for another week. Good luck and look forward to hearing your birth story.

So sorry to hear about the paralysis, but like Vindhya said, by next week you will have gotten rid of it and all the hard work you've done will surely feel rewarding when you see and hold your little bundles of joy.....

It's good to know that the babies are doing fine. Hope you go into labor before the scheduled C-Section date. Instead of C-Section, can they induce so you can still deliver normally? I am sure your doctor does what is best for you and your babies.

I am very sorry to hear about the paralysis. I am sure it'll be history by next week. I wish that the 1 in 10000 hadn't had to be you. My prayers are with you.

Do take care of yourself and the babies. I'll be waiting to hear your birth story.
