So far ive been window shopping for cribs, stroller, car seat, swing etc. Ill start buying them once my mom comes. I did find that graco full stroller that has the infant car/carrier seat was easy to open to store away and sturdy too. crib im still deciding on whether to go with convertible to toddler bed or the regular crib. i like the open top 3 or 6 speed swing by graco. well take care and bellyrubs to all of you girls.

Hey vidhya good to know u r in high spirits. Keep it up. I havent started windowshopping as sunday i have classes & saturday goes in doing grocery, temple etc. May be i can start in June. Ya ur ideas will be very helpful to me while shopping.I am planning to register with Babies R Us so that in case i have a babyshower some of the friends can gift me fm there. But being here for just 1 year, havent got much friends either. So lets see what i do. But i ve started with music at least. O it feels so great when the baby moves. The first time i felt, 2 weeks back, as if it was as my dh was driving too fast. But after entering the mall it continued & i felt as if i was in a ride at Disney. This continued & next day i was sure it was baby moving. Also now it is there almost all time. mid May is a good time for the guests to come & enjoy. May be there is a long weekend too.memorial day! I am not sure. Hey Padmaja,I have also heard of Kirit Patel as one of the friend told me he is a good dr. But being for the 1st time i was too shy to go to a gents dr so i took up Bharti Shah on grove ave. So far i have got good experience. North Edison means U live quite nearby somewhere to my place. Are U planning to take Lamaze? Which hospital have u registered? It is so great to talk to someone preg in the same town. Are U fond of Junk too? Then i think dimple/ Bombay talk would be ur favourite place. I had not given my driving tests yet so just came & finished them successfully. Untill now i had IDP. So while coming i went to Bombay hut with a friend & enjoyed Bhel & batatawada. okey then C U sometimes & have a great weekend as its gonna be a good weather hopefully.

Subject:  Hi! There all you girls!

Hi!Its a long time since I logged in. We have shifted in at our new place but we have not shifted our computer yet. Hence, not been in contact for more than 10 days.
My baby too has started moving a lot. I just enjoy it by placing my hand on my tummy and letting my baby know I am happy.
A small tip, I dont know if it is really true, but when you have a bath, try putting a little warm water slowly on your tummy and then talking to your baby as if giving it a bath. I found out during my first time that when my son was born, he enjoyed his bath right from day one. He used to sit comfortably without a fuss and instead used to cry when we stopped the bath! Try it girls! It can be a little painful hearing the little one crying during the bath.
I am enjoying this calm period of pregnancy by reading lots of books.
I have found out I have varicose veins on my right leg. It has also started in my left one, my doctor says it happens, but it was not there during my first preg.
Hope it does not turn painful later on. Any tips on how to find relief?
Here it is blazing hot and we are enjoying mangoes. Remember you girls when eating, I try to avoid over eating them because scared of the heat it generates.
Nothing else. Enjoy all the movements, you will enjoy the kicks more. It is as if the baby wants to communicate with you thru them my son used to give about 25 of them at a time, and there used to a few whenever it was nearing lunch time!
bye for now. Have a good weekend.

Hi Nikki
Felt very sorry for the sad news. But did you know the reason why it happend?
Bali must be very upset.
Nose bleed problem I have not experienced yet. How many glasses of milk do u have everyday? Have oranges and oragne juice if You do not like milk. Yeah suppliments is a good idea.
U must be taking the Multivitamin Tablets. Do not forget to take thoes. It seems thoes are very important.
One of my friend is expecting in Aug. And her DH got laid off. He didnt have option than sending her back to India. She went to india in her 5th month and because of all the sudden changes she is facing lot of problems there.
The journey from here was not very comfertable as flights got late. She is feeling bad for not having DH with her. She is used to him now.
Here medical insurace is the thing which is dependent on job so he had to send her back. I thought she might have good time with her mom .. and all relavites but she was admitted to hospital 2-3times. Her weight gain is now just 1Pound per month !
I hope she will improve soon.
Sudden chages make lot of difference!

Hi Priya after a long time. No i donno the reason for Bali. Ya sudden changes make u upset in these times & i am sure ur friend must be facing
problems going thru so many emotional & physical changes. Didnt her dh get another job? Was he directly employed? May be he cud have
tried som other consultin Firm!! The market is slowly getting up now it seems.
I am just praying God that nothing like this shud happen to me.
In ur case U R lucky that even if one partner loses H1 the other has it. But for people like me it is always a sword of Democlas over the head.
especially if the dh is going to fininsh one project, it is a big tension. Even if it is in US, U may have
to shift to another state etc. I ve started with the Humidifier & it has helped nose bleeds. May be i have lot of heat in the body so it happens.
Ya i do take supplements regularly & take 3 -4 glasses of milk. also i take orange juice. Sometimes i
am just smiling to myself as the baby moves so much that it is tickling. Does that happen to U? Have a great weekend in this beautiful spring.

Yes Nikki, I was reading the messages but did not get time to post any. My friends DH is with a consultancy company and is applied for another job. Everything is through but they are taking time to process the things as market is down.
As far as my case, I will be almost out off job after the kid. SO never know we also might face problems in future. We are building a house in india so till today all of our savings are gone to india. Right now our situation is not so good because rents have incresased.. I would help as Long as I can work. Just imagin our house rent it self is 1610$ per month and it is just a single bed apartment. We want to move to double bed but i think it will not be possible for us.
Yes, heat might be a problem for u. U can eat almonds they are cool for stomach.
I do laugh when the baby moves. .. It feels really differnet !
My DH wants to experience it.. he says why dont u give me the baby in my stomach..He is now becoming very curious to see the baby.
We always talk how it will look, what we will be playing with the baby.
My DH is a Tamilian and I am a Maharastrian. Two differennt cultures ! It is going to be fun to see the baby growing !

Dear friends,
I am writing after a long time as I was quite ill. Hyderabad is very very hot right now 42C. So I used the cooler throughout the night one day. Next day I had severe throat infection, flu, nose congestion, swollen glands, breathing trouble. In short I am feeling miserable. My doctor prescribed antibiotics and I am feeling lot better now. However, I am very worried as I have heard one shouldnt take antibiotics during pregnancy. Do any of you know whether this will harm the baby ?
I am very sad to hear about Balis misfortune.
I am also getting very anxious as I am in my 21st week and my baby still hasnt moved. Do you think something is wrong ? I heard the babys heartbeat again 2 days back, but why doesnt it move ? Do you think I should worry. My ultrasonography is scheduled for next Saturday. Lets see how that goes.
Hope all of you are doing great. Take good care of yourselves.
Best Wishes,
Joyeeta

Hey Priya, Great to know u will have a house of ur own soon. One of my friend & her dh had been thru same when they were buying one in india but now she is there with her baby & feels very happy to have own house. Ya the rent is too much there. Even we were looking 4 an appartment as lease expires june 31st/but finally renewed & plan to continue in same place. The rents here r also going up high. For one bed it is 1300+ now. but we were here last year so we pay 1000. Still i feel so guilty that Rs.50,000/ month is so much money wasting. But we have no choice. And though the market is down, the rent keeps increasing & it has become more & more difficult to get appts. When the babe moves i try to put my hand on tummy & i can feel the movement on hand too. Have u tried it? It is amazing. But sometimes i feel a stranger is going to come into our life & make so much of difference everywhere. Also i can never dream or visualise baby or what i will do with the baby etc. so i also feel scared that will i be a good mom??! Ya my dh can see the baby almost everywhere & talk to her. he can see the little girl asking for things, running around etc. He is so obsessed that even while having bath he sings & talks as if he is with the baby there. & i dont feel these things at all. It seems strange to me.

Hi Joyeeta, take care for urself. Take some honey & mix tumeric haldi 1/4 small tsp & mix & swallow before u sleep. Or mix haldi in 1/2 cup milk & take it. Do not take water after that. Let the haldi work on ur throat for the night. It has helped me in similar situation. & continue it everyday so u will be away fm antibiotics. Haldi is a good herbal antibiotic & increases hemoglobin & also gives beautiful skin to ur baby. Ya even i was scared with antibiotics but normally during pregnancy they give ones which r safe so dont u worry. Take care Cheers. Hi Sakhi, i really liked ur name. I ve added to the my babys name list. Where r u from?

Hi Sakhi, How do U like in Hong Kong? How is the place. I ve noted the names U mentioned. Ya in US too the studies show that there is no side effect for Ultrasound. But once i read on net somewhere that Studies in UK show some adverse effect of Ultrasound on the cells of the fetus. I was so shocked when i read that & then i went to library & checked for books onit & got more crazy as there R lots of books on side effects of Ultrasound. So i go for U/S when dr feels the need. Ask ur dr too if possible not to do U/s untill it is needed as U dont feel safe. Even in New York one of my dhs collugue said his wife was taken for U/S evey checkup but his baby is as healthy as ever. So U cant say anythin about it. At present atleast in US there is no other thought. They say it is safe.take care & if U eat a lot & drink a lot may be the headache will go.

Friends, have fun reading this wonderful poem.

Mothers Heart
by Teri Harrison

I loved you from the very start,
You stole my breath, embraced my heart. Our life
has just begun,
Youre part of me, my little one.
As mother with child, each day I grew,
My mind was filled with thoughts of you. Id
daydream of the things wed share, Like late-night
bottles and teddy bears. Like first steps and skinned
knees,
Like bedtime stories and ABCs.
I thought of things youd want to know Like how
birds fly and flowers grow.
I thought of lessons Id need to share, Like standing
tall and playing fair.
When I first saw your precious face,
I prayed your life be touched with grace.
I thanked the angels from above,
And promised you unending love.
Each night I lay you down to sleep,
I gently kiss your head and cheek.
I count your little fingers and toes,
I memorize your eyes and nose.
I linger at your nursery door,
Awed each day I love you more.
Through misty eyes I dim the light,
I whisper I love you every night.
I loved your from the very start,
You stole my breath, embraced my heart. As mother
and child, our journeys begun,
My hearts yours forever, little one.

yes Life cell is the best, when ourbabygirl was due in Feb 2011 we shortlisted Lifecell after meeting Cyrobanks, Relicord, Babycord etc. Cyrobanks are thugs they promise you the moon and also there is no indian hand in this company so we can' t rely on them at all. Good Gynae in Dwarka
Hi

I am new to dwarka and want to know if there is any good doctor having her clinic here (I expect them to be visiting some good hospotal).

I know some good doctors in gurgaon like Dr Chetna Jain (Columbia Asia), Dr Manvita (Max).

but can anybody suggest someone in dwarka as gurgaon would be far for emergency situations.
