My daughter has started giving problems for taking solids now. Already her milk intake is reduced. Now she doesn't sit on the high chair like before to eat. Also she doesn't want to eat more than 1 or 2 tsp. I hv to carry her show toys, things to make her eat that, that too with small breaks after every 2 spoons. Couple of days back she was not drinking milk properly but now she's fussing over solids too. I have an apointment tomorrow with her doc. will let you know what she says about this. I guess its cause of the teething problem. Guess their gums hurt and hoping it could be that as that way she will fall back into her track again. I know it is difficult for a parent to see their child not having sufficient food....but u know I think at times we try too hard and they might get irritated...my advise is to maintain your calm while feeding and also to feed her while you are eating..on dining table so that she sees that everyone is eating and its time to eat...This way she will know that this is eating time...I know you can not do this always as they need more feedings than us..but try eating ( may be a biscuit) while she is eating...
Also when Sanya doesn't enjoy eating in the swing...I ask my hubby to hold her and then I feed her--she keeps on playing with him and side by side I keep feeding her...this way she has change of routine...

So don't worry , try these tips may be they help..
