Dear All,

This is first time I am posting this message. Can anybody help me with low placenta discovered in 20 th week Ultrasound. Doc says it will go up avoid relation with partner and exhersion.

kindly suggest...

Hi,

I went for U/S.. low lying placenta discovered in week 20th,she told me that this is very common these days..and slowly as the baby grows by 28th to 32nd week it will move up, so..crossing my fingers..

howz ur health now?

Dear Neena,

The placenta is attached somewhere on the inside uterine wall. As the uterus stretches, the placenta will usually migrate up.If it does not move upward,
it may cause vaginal bleeding.
Usually the placenta will raise up and go into the correct position. Worst case, you may have to have a ceasarian.
so nothing to worry,you still have time that it may move up,else ceasarian.

follow ur doc advice,take good care of yourself,btw when is ur baby due?

i haven' t done it but i heard about it. it is similar to ultrasound but much more clear. u will actully see the baby than just a figure. one of my friend did it. there is a fee for it.
they can even show u the gender very clearly than ultrasound. it is done around 20week.
