dear blue.. as such we cannot manipulate anything with the quality of egg as such upto my knowledge.. younger you are and more your hormone levels are normal the rich is your quality of your egg...

dear i have been following up your messages.. and its soo sad that you have a failed ICSI.. feeling bad for you.. but dont even worry.. you always have a good chance when you try it again.. you know what.. im in a pathetic situation.. im yet to go for ICSI.. and all the doctors have said that we can try for one time of ICSI maximally.. i dont have words to express my feelings... till date im on the search for a good centre since i would have one and only chance... my eyes are filled with tears wen i type this.. but still i manage to write.. i have literally no guts to go in for the treatment... i cannot imagin ethe result... this is the first time im wiritng my story in this forum.. but i have been a reader of it for quiet some time.. i have been on the search of a good centre for the past 9-10 months... if anyone could help me out in this i would kneel down on your toes for the biggest help in my life...
i think you are ready for your next cycle.. stay cool and start with your treatment.. our prayers are wit you.. all the very best.. if you could tell me your place of treatment it would be of great help.

hi , im basically from chennai. im 27. presently nt started with any treatment as we have planne to try out ayurveda for 1 or 2 months and planned to go with the treatment... we arre still in the initial stage of treatment as you all should know the reason as i have posted it in this thread... i really dont have any hopes.. only god should do the miracle in our life... just doing watever is possible from our side the rest is with him....

HI All,

Sorry i was away for 2 days, Basically i am from Delhi but now settled in bangalore from past 5 years, I am 33 yrs old. I have checked couple of institutes where they have Egg donors, But all of them ask for Huge money. Morover i can go for Donor Eggs ICSI cycle only if my AMH Test comes Normal. I have seen all the Infertility Specalist they just want to make huge money, they dont provide complete information before Treatment starts, Once Cycle fails they comes up with another problem that u have this issue also. Its business for them. I have lost faith on these Infertility specalists. Every doc says diffrent thing, diffrent line of treatment. We are just considering Adoption as next Step.Lets see. Will update you soon

I would like to share some information with you, wch is really important for all of you who r under gng IVF/ICSI, Since you know that i had failed ICSi, i have spoken to many infertility specilist in last few days for Second opinion. Since i was not knowing dis before my ICSi cylce, neither my doc had adviced me. before gng IVF/ ICSI please Speak to your doc about AMH blood Test. Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) is a new blood test developed following clinical research which measures ovarian function – i.e. how your ovaries are working. It is more accurate than a simple oestrogen test and is not available on the NHS.

The test can help reassure woman about their current and medium term fertility - . It can also help to predict the menopause and also help judge possible IVF / ICSI success.

I felt that i should share this important infomration, Atleast you should not suffer the same, what i am suffering at this point of time.

how are u doing? i started my injections from 16th. its my 4th day. it looks like all of us are seeing the best doctors in india. monica, dont lose hope. take a break and then start all over again. dont push it too much. see some doctors in mumbai or delhi. its good that u are considering adoption. i think its a huge decision. lots of baby dust to you.
mk and mvyas, i hope u are doing fine. how is your treatment going on? mvyas, have u done any usg yet. let us know.

HI MK,

I am based in Bangalore, I went through ICSi from Manipal Hospital, Dr, Beena Vasan, As per Beena Vasan if she repeat ICSI with my Eggs, result may come same as it has come now. She has suggested me to go for ICSI with Donor Eggs, as per her my egg Quality was Average, Wch was being told to me when ICSi failed, Just to Verify that if she is suggesting right Treatment i had conversation with another Infertility Doctors, and explained my case. Other doc suggested me to go for AMH Test, so they can get to know my that How my Ovaries and Uterous will be able to support this ICSI Treatment or not. Thats what AMH Test is for, Doc said If AMH Test will nt be Normal, then there is no Point gng for ICSI with Donor Eggs too, Embryos Implantation is Important, in case Ovaries and Uterous will not support this ICSi we will not get desired result and agn There will be no Pregnancy. I havnt got my AMH Test done as Yet, As i am taking Opinion from other doc too, Waiting for thier response. If other doc also says the same, I dnt think there is any point gng for ICSI agn with Donor eggs and Donor Sperms, Its better i sud Adopt a Child.

how are you doing.. have you got your blood test reports.. if you dont mind can you share the laboratory from which you have underwent this test as i also saty in bangalore.. can you also share the hospital from which you underwent ICSI.. why did the doc asked you to go in for the test when you were able to get good quality embryo.. what i mean is if in any case your AMH should be abnormal you wouldnt have got your good quality embryo know.. if you could telll us in detail it would be of great help since we are yet to go in for the treatment... our prayers are with you to come out from this very difficult situation.. lots of baby dust on you dear.. dont lose hope... after reading you all i dont know wat to tell or i dont know if i should still have hopes for my situation.. any how lets see.. waiting for your kind reply...

Hey Blue good to know that ur from Delhi. i was born in delhi :) Well i go to Dr Jatin Shah from Bombay Fertility clinic. I did my first ICSI with him in Jan n it failed. This is my second attempt and i have already started my stimulations. You know my case is little differnet. I m just 25 yrs old but I am very fat. as a result my eggs dont grow well inspite of me getting regular periods. My husband´ s motility rate is little low. Since it was a love marriage I got married at the age of 21 and my husband was 22 then. I am 25 now and been trying since 2 yrs. Intially i thought i have lot of time n didnt plan. I was diagonised with right fallopian tube been blocked and then did Laproscopy in Jan 2007. had 4 failed IUI and then went to see Dr Jatin as i have heard a lot about him. My neighbour who was ur age was blessed with a baby girl 6 months back, recommended me to him. she concieved in 2nd cycle with him. This is my second cycle as well. Lets see what happens. Keeping my finger crossed and staying positive. Lots of baby dust on you as well as Monica.

mvyas which doctor u are seeing? is it dr. malpani? i have heard that he is very good. good thing u have started at such an early age. i wasn´ t even married at your age!
monica, how are u? take it easy. things will be alright for u. our prayers are with u.
hi mk, its good u are doing ayurveda first. i am doing yoga for 1 month. it really help to relax. dont lose your hope. my husband also has a very poor sperm count. also very poor motility and morphology. but sperm concentration varies from time to time. u just never know!!

thank u for this important information. i have never heard of this test. god knows what doctors are doing with us. why didnt your doctor told u before? atleast u would be more mentally prepared and may not loss such a big amount of money. one question if u dont mind-how old are u? i am asking since age has an important role in ivf.

no dear.. please... dont go down.. this is no way going to help you out.. you cannot just be carried away by our problem since each one of us has different prob.... you need to be more cool and stay calm now.. have confidence in god and leave everything in his hand . cheer up you are going to succeed with this treatment... dont think of the result just give your best for a succesful treatment by taking no tension onto you.. our prayers are definitely with you...

i felt very sad to hear your story. pls dont worry. u will have your dreams come true one day. we are praying for u. but i dont understand why u have only one chance? usually doctors said ivf should be tried 2 or 3 times as it has only 30% success rate! leave everything on God. only He can bless u with a child. pray for me pls.

I am not able to find any way, There is no another chance for me, as per doc we cannot go for 2nd attempt until unless we find Donor Eggs and AMH Test result should come as Normal. AMH Test ( wch is agn not available eveywhere in India ) Also its not easy to find donor as they have criterias to Select donor. I dont know what to do. This Treatment Cost more then double then ICSI Cost,which i cannot afford at this point of time. Morover chances r agn 25 - 30% only, Even if somehow i arrange money and donor, then also if the result is Negative, i will not be able to bear the emotional Truma.
