I am 28 yrs old and married for one and a half year. No kids yet. I had irregular painful period and spotting after completion of periods. I consult with doctor and diagnosed endometrial polyp and polycystic ovary. Started treatment with glycephage and contraceptive pill. After continuing for 6 months, condition improves but not cured. Then Doctor stopped the later and started with clome and Gestin for 3months. Last I visited doctor 1 week back and she took a scan and told there are still cysts and ovary is not ovulating. Now she wants to go for a D&C for removing the polyp and laparoscopy for removing cysts.

Can any one suggest, is there any kind of risk in doing this? What are the chances to get cure and conceive by this process? I have hard that polycystic ovary never get cure, all the treatments are temporary. How much truth is this?
