Name: Supriya Hello, we have a boy and we want to complete our family by adopting a baby girl. Is it possible and easy for family which already having a baby to adopt a baby. If any parents have this kind of experience, please help us out. We have heard from lot of adoptive parents who do not have their own kids that adoption process is difficult in India.

Hi Supriya, it is better that you follow a legal procedure for adoption in India. Go to a government recognized adoption agency to know how you can go about adopting a girl child. It may take time but you if you follow the instructions of the adoption agency it can be faster.

Do even think of adopting without legal procedure

I had adopted my sister in law´ s baby. But the thing is that we just did not do any legal procedure for the same. She was ok with it for the first six months but later on she just took the baby away from us. Therefore, if your are adopting a baby, adopt it legally.
