Hi Sups!, Hope u r doing well. As u know 1 had 2 failed IVF' s(1IVF,1 FET). Now my Immunophic blood report came abnormal means i have natural killer cells. i haven' t seen the reoprt yet so dont know the level. but Dr. sugested me to take Iv Ig therapy (3 doses with d interval of 21 days.) u too had N-killer cells right? will this treatment help? injections r very costly(15 thousand for 80ml)..how many injection they gave u n where did u take them( common nursing home or ivf centre) am scared after this blood report came. plz respond...regards liki likitha replied. hi dear Sups,
thank you sooo much for quick reply for my query. even i was so upset because of unexpained infertility, now atleast i know the cause.i' ll start the IvIg therapy at the earliest. thank you so much once again for clearing my doubts. even for me Dr. prescribed 3 cycles of pentaglobin. i really need prayers n wishes at this moment. thank you once again. i' ll update you. I too was concerned about the high counts of killer cells.. but also eager to proceed with the treatment as it gave me a new hope that we had identified teh cause of my earlier failures and were taking steps to overcome it by this therapy. It definitely helped in my case.. I got pregnant after 3 failed cycles. I had to have 3 cycles of IvIg before I went in for the IVF cycle. I got them done at a local nursing home close to my home. Ask your doctor for detailed instructions on administration of the pentaglobin and any nursing home will be able to do it.

Well, I too was surprised to know I had natural killer cells.. but was eager to proceed with the treatment as it gave me the hope of trying something different after the failed IVf cycles.. it meant we had identified the reason for failure and there was a way out..i.e IVIG.. I know the injections are expensive.. If I remember right I had to take about 3 cycles before I could start the cycle. I took them at a regular nursing home close to my place. Ask your doctor for detailed instructions on how to admnister the injection and any nursing home will be able to do it. I think it helps. It definitely did in my case.. I got pregnant after so many failures..
