Hi this is hetal
Did any one of you do the triple test for detecting down's syndrome/ mongolism (disoreder/mental retardation).If yes then how was it done? I wanted to know.
Also you all must be knowing that if the blood group of both the partners is different then an injection (immuglobin) has to be taken in the 28th month of pregnancy and within 72 hours after delivery to avoid building of antibodies.

My name is MAria
Your had mentioned the blood group. I am B-ve and my husband is B+ve.
Only if there is a clash of positive and negative blood group then the mother has to be injected during the 28th week. After delivery, after checking the blood group of the baby only then can the second injection be given. If the baby's blood group is the same as the mother's, then there is no problem. Otherwise, the mother has to be injected within 72 hours of delivery.

The mother is injected during the 28th week because there is a chance of the mother's and the baby's blood mixing.
