i think its very difficult to explain how to behave in social gathering.whenever we r going to such gathering, through out the way i explain everything to my 5 yr daughter and sometime by stories,i tried to tell her but as soon as we reach ,she forgets every lesson.she feels so excited to see children of her age or any person whoever speak to her.she is really a social person and sometime she act so ,that it is very embarasing.then i think this is the child who can behave like this innocently, not like elders who pretends to be well behaved in front and in the other corner they r the one who need to be teach

Posture: Sit up straight at the table, never lean backward, nor forward and also never let the elbows touch the table. This makes a good impression. When you are not eating, keep your hands on your lap or rest on the table.

. \" Please\" and \" Thank you\" are basic manners at the table: Say \" Please\" when asking people to pass you something and \" Thank you\" when you receive something.
