Hi everyone,
Hope you are all doing well...well the Doctor has called me in for another GTT Test on Monday...Again its the 3 hour test where they make you drink this disgusting liquid that tastes like Sprite and withdraw your blood every 3 hours...He wants to make sure as Diabetes runs in the family.

With so many new members on this board..has anyone taken this test at all yet? This is the 2nd time I am doing this during the pregnancy.

hi ritu this is my 26th week running &i too have been called for a similar test next week. first they will do one simple sugar test &if it is high anything abcormal then the lengthy one 3hour test will be done but it will be the first time during this pregnancy. i too have diabetese background in my family so i guess it is important also
