well , i remember ritu had posted a message regarding this...
ritu, have you found out any solution for this?
i'm having severe pain in my fingers,wrist and lower arms... more in the right hand. all last week i've been sleeping hardly 2-3 hrs each night.. somehow spent the time watching TV all night :(( because of Diwali my doc is also not available expect for immergencies :( so.... i'm just apllying the gel he had prescribed earlier.. soaking my hands in hot water and things like that..

at least now i can move around a lot.. but if same kind of swelling and pain starts in my legs also then what!
i'm really scared now to think how next 3 months will go :(

I totally can side with you on this one. My wrist is so swollen none of my bangles fit anymore. Dipi is right, reducing salt intake helps. My Doctor said there is nothing we can do..its normal. Weird thing is like most people, my feet have not experienced swelling at all!

Hang in there Dhanu, only a few more months to go...and we'll all have a warm cute baby by our side...its all worth it...ahh..what a Mother has to go through...

Ritu Deepika replied. dhanu hi,swelling of hands feet means the body is retaining water so you really need to drink a lot of fluids esplly water as then the body will flush it all out.one thing we need to kep in mind is sudden swelling of face hands and feet sometimes this is a symptom of preclampsia,a condition of very high BP so keep that in mind esplly if it is your first pregnancy,get your bp checked regularly and urine for protein.you will be fine,dont worry.all the best to you.

how u feeling now..pls reduce ur salt intake ..that will help...take salt less than normal..even my legs r swollen a lot and i m receiving lots of advices from my near and dear ones saying..reduce salt intake..do take walks after dinner...its very imp..i hope these tips help u too...all the best...
