I have read most of you are going to India. I went to India when Jello was 3 months old and was there for a month. Here are the things you need to carry -
* Very light weight stroller.
* Diaper bag - Formula, water(better to carry small nursery water bottles which you get in babiesrus), Cereal(ready to mix small packets), use and toss cups to feed solids, gerber foods, bottles with liners(since washing is really pain on flights).
* A few pacifiers for takeoff and landing.
* Few warm clothes for the chotus. And even normal ones(sometimes its really warm in flights).
* Burp cloths, bibs, wash cloths.
* Little noses saline drops(for congestion on flights).
* Cap(which cover there ears while takeoff and landing).
* Lots of diapers.
Here are some suggestions.
* Use saline drops while on flight to ease their breathing.
* Some medicines like for cold, cough, fever etc(ask your pediatrician fot the medicines to carry with you)and thermometer.
* Pedialyte.
* Those who are BF continue it even on the flights too. You can carry a feeding pillow with you so that its comfortable to both of you.
* baby bjorn is also recommanded if you are travelling alone.
* Book the basinett seat before hand.
* In India be careful with the water you are using for the baby.
* BFing mothers also should be careful with the water they take, its better to boil the water and drink.
I hope that you all enjoy your trip to India to the fullest. And have a safe and wonerful journey.
Love to all chotus.
Kyathi.
