Due Date Club May 2007:Hi-seek suggestion on dist btw RESI & NURSING HOME
2006-11-14
Name: Pinks

Hi to all \";to be mums\"; & \";the li'l ones\"; !

I have just joined the \";due date May 2007 Club\";
Had gone through previous posts yesterday and was tempted to join the club. It is really good to know that you can have so many alike companions in your journey towards motherhood !

I seek a suggestion from you all.
How crucial is it to have the nursing home close to your residence?!!
I mean, is it advisable to select a nursing home that is not so close (around 20min drive) to your residence?

Actually, I stay in Mulund with my in-laws. My mom stays at Airoli, where I will be going for delivery.
My concern is, Airoli doesn't have good nursing homes wheras Mulund has many - like Butch & Upasani to name a few.
Currently I am visiting gynac Dr. Uday Thanawala, whose nursing home is at Airoli. But I am not very comfortable, as he seems to be rude and never smiles. Also the nursing home's atmosphere is dull & sad.
I have heard that in Mulund, Upasani & Butch are very good gynacs and make you feel comfortable. since this is my first baby, I dont want to take any chance and i want to provide him THE BEST doc.
Hence was thinking whether to change my gynac.
My mom says that if I choose hosiptal in Mulund, there might be problems if labour pain is too severe.

Can anyone pls guide me whether would it be wise to switch to gynac in Mulund or not

Thanks.
Take Care & All the Best
Pinks

P.S : As per last sonogram my EDD is 11th May 2007.

Hi Smera,

Thank you for your suggestion.
Could you also suggest who is better - Dr. Upasani or Dr. Butch or any other??

Thanks,
Pinks

Hi Palak,
Eating both fruits is good for health but you have to be very cautious because banana would put you to gain weight. So better think about that and then there will be no chance of loss of weight.... - Neha [View Message]
