Hi MTBs,
How r u all doing?
I have been told that walking is the best for pregnant women... but how much walking? i feel guilty because i m finding it harder to go for a walk because it is getting cooler here and by the time i get back from work, it gets quite dark...
any innovative ideas? what do you guys do?

Hi Tanvi,

I walk for 1.5- 2 hrs in a day. I go for walk around my office. I don' t walk continuously, but I break my walk into sessions -before lunch, after lunch and after dinner.

I talked to my doctor about my walking and she was okay with it.

It is always good that you stretch your body and take small breaks during work.

If it is cold outside, you can try walking in your home itself. i walk for 15 min - 1/2 an hour after dinner in my home itself :)

Hi Tanvi,

Try to go for a walk in the afternoon hours...esp before/after your lunch. just a walk around your office lawn/parking lot for 20 mins and then around 3-4 pm for another 10-15 mins will do good.

hope this helps.
