I have been trying to conceive for last 5 yrs. I have tried all treatments except ivf,I have fibroid which may be causing
the infertility...finally I am planning to do IVF, Does anyone experience fibroid...does this work for me....I would really appreciate it if anyone can share the experience...

Thanks, good luck replied. I was married for 5 years too . i had many fibriods in my utres. i m taking treatment at prasanth hospital chennai. by hstroscopy they removed the fibroids and next month i have planned for icsi.
you could be pregnent by ivf or icsi but plz dont prolong your time and age is a main factor for ivf.. Afriend replied. Hi Jay,

I just came across ur query.Yes selena is right do not waste ur time with gynea go to a good infertility expert .
As for ur fibroid is ur Laproscopy done ?I have been through this IVF treatment .before my IVF my Dr did my Lap. & in that she found fibroids at the mouth of uterus (she even showed to my husband) for which D& C was done she told my husband that this will not let the embryo enter the uterus .please get this removed and all the best to u .Please do not be stresed bcoz stress & anxiety works against a person in infertility treatment .Be composed relaxed and definately u will bear fruits .

Please dont go to Gyneac.Becuase they dont have much knowledge about infertility issues And they hesitate to remove fibrpids as this doesnt cause u any pain or bleeding.If u meet an infertility specialist they will definitely consider removing the Fibroid if it is Intramural coz it can affect with embryop implantation...All the best and do post the updates Selena replied. Intramural fibroids can definitely cuase Infertility as this can affect implanatation of the embryo in the uterine wall.And the size of ur fibroid is very big.Why dont u consider removing the fibroid.So that u have a better chance of getting pregannt.There are a lot of ladies who got pregnant just the next month after removing their fibroids.My Fibroid is on the outer walls so it doesnt cause much preoblem with pregnancy.If u r planning for IVF be sure to remove ur fibroid before.So u have a better chance of the embryo getting implanted.Also if still u ra able to get pregnant with the fibroid complicatios of the pregnancy will be more .When uare pregnant the fibroid increases in size due to the hormones and can hinder the babys growth.

I also have fibroid which is of 4.5 cm size.Its on the Fundus and anterior walls of my uterus.Where is ur fibroid located.Usually it depends on the location of the fibroids that it affects fertility or not.If its found to be inside uterus then it can interfere with pregnancy
