Yday when my mom was seeing ur photos, i peeped in and saw you guys too, and asked mom who they were. That's how I found abt u guys. It was so much fine watching my new friends. Will ask mom to post my pics some time this week.

Thought of introducing myself to u folks. My full name is KAAUSTAAUB SRIVATSAN SHANKAR. (Phew!!! Such a long one. Yes it has 26 letters. Dad and grandpa say it is for numerology. ) Was born on Dec 9, 2004. So, I guess am the eldest of you all.

My schedule - I don't have one as yet. It is fun seeing my mom do things at my beck and call. Ofcourse mom keeps telling me what she expects from me from the next day onwards. It never happens.

My favorite game with mom - Pulling her hair, ear-ring and chains. Putting our heads together.

My favorite game with dad - I love styling my dad's hair. I use my special styling gel though. I have to sit on his shoulder to do it. Let me know if you need some styling.

My favorite song - I loves all those devotional songs on Lord Siva. Dad has found that out. He puts them on whenever I start crying. Need to find a new fav.

My favorite rhymes - Old McDonald' Farm. Poor mom has to make all those animal sounds.

Favorite place to sleep - Mom's shoulder. It is so comfy.

New found game - Did u know that I found out how to gargle. I push the bottle away and gargle. It is so much fun. Will teach u guys too.

My favorite passtime - Watching the water flow off the tap. Ofcourse I know how to turn the water on and off.
Sometimes, when my mom is getting me ready for a bath, I like to turn the lights on and off too in the bathroom.
And ofcourse the cars that I get to see driving past our home. We monitor the traffic for hours together sometimes.
And everyday I make sure that the screws in my car seat and stroller are in good condition. I am cautious, that's all.

Latest prank - Dad took me to the temple last week. He put me on his shoulder and was praying not realizing that I was pulling the hair of the guy standing near me. Poor guy, he kept quiet, while I had fun doing it. Too bad mom noticed it.

My food - Mom gives me cereal in the morn. For luch and dinner - a balanced diet of rice,dhal and vege as recommened by my doc. Sometimes in the evening I have a juice or fruit or a biscuit. Then ofcourse there is mom's milk.

My prob - My only prob right now is burping. How do you guys manage? I don't seem to burp imme after. It happens hours later or never sometimes. So I keep crying until it happens. Yday too, went on a ride in the car after dinner. On the way back home I was crying coz I was unable to burp. Then when we reached home was seeing the water flow and gave a loud burp and then imme went off to sleep, tired.

I started crawling last week. But seems like I have forgotten again. So I keep rolling over to my destination.

I've been gargling form two months now.. Pure fun. Try spitting the milk after gargle, you can see proper amazement in your mommy's eyes.

About your burp - Have you tired tummy time? Or sitting on mommy's lap, leaning forward, with mummy rubbing your back.. It's a pain not to burp yaar.. so invest some time and learn..

My mom read your message and I was rolling with laughter literally. I can't believe how you can turn on and off teh water whereas I could only gaze at it in awe. I love the splash the water in my tub though. My forgets where you live. Please let me know. It must be fun to crawl right. I am still mastering my rolling. Like you, I forgot how to roll from tummy to back. I discovered shrieking and can't wait to gargle and turn the lights on and off.
