I'm new to the group. I'm in my 14th week and my due date is 3rd April. This is my second one. I have a 4 1/2 yr. old daughter. I'm living in the US.

With 2nd baby

Hi alpana,
I'm in Canada and carrying my 2nd baby now. My older daughter is 2 years and 2 months. I'm 13 weeks pregnant. Just heard the heart beats yesterday and told all close relatives. Hope all goes well for everyone here and good luck.

Hi Tina,

Good to hear from you. When I went for my first ob/gn appointment my doctor told me that ideally I should not gain more than 3 pounds in 4 weeks. It's been 6 weeks since my last appt. and I 've gained about 5 pounds. Which I think is little more. Have you not gained any weight at all?? Are you having severe morning sickness?? Because one of my friends actually lost a few(4-5) pounds(in the 3rd month) due to morning sickness. She used to vomit at least 8-10 times in a day. If you are doing fine and don't have any other problems you should not worry.... Take care - Alpana.
