Due Date Club August 2008:I can feel the baby
2008-03-20
Name: Sheetal

Hi all,

I can feel the baby move now. It keeps moving so much, esp after dinner time and night time. I know this is gonna keep increasing to full kicking very soon but its always good to start feeling your baby.

I have my complete ultrasound in two weeks. How is everyone else doing?

Hi Tejal,

It is completely normal not to feel the movement in the 21st week. Till the time you are able to hear the heartbeats when you visit the doc. You will be able to make out the movements more clearly in the 7th month that is post 24 weeks. So don´ t worry - just chill and be happy

My wife is in the 21st week, still she claims that she can' t feel the movement of the baby.During our last visit to Doctor( 20 days back ) she says everything is normal.

My wife is really concerned about that she is still not able to feel the movement.

Any suggestions or experience on the same?

Hi alolika,

yes, its exciting. In the beginning, which is about this time, you feel like little gas bubbles bursting in your tummy. Its your baby. They are tiny kicks. If this is your first time, yes, you don´ t know what it really is. Second time, you know exactly wat it is.
