Hi Avi and Vidhya.

Avi, Lovely to hear that your mum dad will be double grand parents in the same mth. All the very best to your sil for her delivery. Enjoy your parents visit!

I am praying for your aunt and I'm sure she will be able to see your baby and ur brothers' too. God bless her.

Vidhya, sorry to hear your mil can't make it yet. I can fully relate to it. My mum was going for her interview the morning she got the news of my mama. So all's on hold for now. But I'm sure as soon as your mil has her interview she will be with you soon after. Keep the faith. Enjoy the baby bonding!!

Take care.

Hi Avi and Vidhya. Thx for ur support and wishes. Means a lot to me. I don't know what my mum will do, too early to ask, but hoping that she is upto visiting sometime this year. Fingers crossed.

My doc appointment went ok, iron levels low so have to get tabs today. Groin pain uncontrolable, really bad night and worst of all, 4AM had to hop out of bed as had cramps in lower legs, not one but both of them. I was in such acute pain, hubby woke up all worried, helped me by pressing the legs n feet as standing on them was not helping the pain at all. I guess lack of circulation is not helping the swelling too.

So that's me juggling with the pain, though the back massage given by hubby sure helps me sleep a bit.

Days are getting tougher at work to sit at desk all day but keep telling myself another three weeks and i will be home. Have started finishing last jobs at work, wrapping up, next week boss is on leave so might start tidying up the desk and packing things to take home. Then only another week and I'll be home to get some rest. So that's about it from my end.

How are you coping at work Vidhya?

Avi, watched any more films? I wonder if u have seen 'catch me if u can'? I quite enjoyed the film, saw it over the weekend, hubby was trying to get my mind off things, and it sure helped. Bless him.

Doc said no appointments for two weeks, so next one due is on 27th. Have to book it still.

What about u guys, when do u see the doc?

Take care.
Simmi

Hi Vidhya and Avi. Thx for ur wishes. I am hoping to get an abdomen belt posted by the weekend, which may help my back a bit, so I am told. Then next appointment should have been next week but midwife said no need, so I will arrange one for 03 Nov and then I will be home for the following appointments.

About my maternity leave, I have an option of taking upaid longer leave, which I am hoping to take up but depends on how well the boss takes it and how long I survive without the money but hopefully will take at least 6 mths off to take it easy with the babes. Hope for the best. That is the reason thought would work as far in to the pregnancy as I could. It is sure exhausting so I can relate to you Vidhya. Let's see if Avi and I have the babes by the time ur leave starts.

I will get iron supplements today and continue to have them till I can, just as doc has suggested so might as well have them. Though it is reassuring to know that baby would have enough iron reserve. Thx.

Avi, hindi films can be bit too much,
but I guess doing anything with your parents would be rewarding and fun, so enjoy the melodramtic movies too.

Last one I saw was Chalte Chalte and though everyone is raving about Baagban, I am not so sure I want to watch it yet. But hubby likes Amitabh so might see it on DVD sometime, not in cinema though. Must say though thinking of watching the comedy Hungama soon, need a laugh!

Good luck to both of you for ur appointments.
Love, Simmi

Hi Simmi,

I am very sorry to hear about the pain. Get as much massage as possible from hubby, it's very nice of him.

Three weeks will be here before you know it. So, you are working almost till the end. How long will you be on maternity leave?

I am taking off from work on 14th Nov(yes, right on your's and Avi's due date). Will go back to work in January. I've started to slow down, I am not the usual me anymore, get tired soon.

I've watched CMIYC too, and liked it a lot.

Regarding iron levels, I believe the baby stops taking iron in the 35th week. In that case, we need not worry about our levels. I've been drinking Cranberry juice based on your advice. Thanks to you.

Hope you feel better soon. Do keep us updated on your doctor's appointment. I have an appointment every Friday. Believe me, it's no fun at all.

Take care,
Vindhya

Hey Simmi..so sorry to hear about your painful nights and tough days at work.. I am glad you have your hubby with you to take care of you.. and he sure is doing a good job..
Just hang in there Sweetie and in three more weeks, everything you've been going through physically will feel like it was worth it... and I am glad you will done at work soon..so you can finally get some of that much needed rest..

I watched Matrix 2 and Italian job the other day..both were alright...
I like Charlize theron so liked Italian job more than the other..I also watched a few mins of 'dream catcher' and couldn't take all the ridiculously gory/gross stuff in it...bad bad movie...

I watched catch me if you can a while ago... I wasn't a big fan of leonardo but liked him in the movie and liked the movie quite a lot..

Once my mom and dad get here, I am sure I will watch a whole bunch of Hindi movies...and as usual will have to sit through the poor girl rich boy or vice versa love stories...will surely test my patience.. :)

I wont see my doc till next week either...we'll see how that goes..
I hope your iron levels are back to normal by your next appointment.. I heard that they usually do get back to normal after the 37th week cause the baby has enough iron reserves by then and wont need much more from you..

YOu take care... and rest rest and rest somemore...

Love
-Avi

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.

Thanks in advance
