Kids & Food:2.5 yet not chewing
2005-05-19
Name: Krupa T S

My son is 2.5 now, he has his molars, but he still does not chew his food.Everything has to be mashed for him to swallow. He does not even make an attempt to chew though we try showing it to him.
Please suggest some tips/tricks to make him chew his food.

hi kupa
m little one was 1 1/2 year old and since i am workig as preschool teacher mylittle one goes to day care where they use to give smash food till 1 yr and then they give all type of food like sandwhiches ,sausage ,vegetables boiled all healthy food but mylittle one use to choke it and spit it....
so the best thg is whenever he sits for lunch or dinner you can have with him and if he see 's u having same food he will try to copy you ...he might not even try but dont force him ..he might go to bed without any food but eventually he will learn toeat like you...because my little one use to see all her other freinds eating same food and that made her to learn ....
