Hi Simmi,
I apologise for not having written earlier have been extremely tied up with tests etc, as u know I had mentioned earlier abt my fluctuating BP levels, so been having myself monitored coupled with increased visits to the doc's.
Im very sorry to hear abt your mama, It must be extremely tough for ur mother right now to cope with this specially when she's gearing up to come and be with you. May god give her the strength to deal with this and also prepare for the arrival of her grandchild at the same time. I know its tough, although bittersweet, I feel the arrival of ur baby could alter some of the sadness around and you too MUST be strong as ur baby's feeling everything that u go through. So for the baby's sake you need to be strong. So here's wishing you and your family strength to go through this.
Lots of love
Vaishali
PS: You know, the pain in the groin u been talking about? I have had the same for so long now. I used to go for these pre-natal classes where I couldnt do half the exercises cos of the pain, specially the stretches which were so imp. ANyways, now the classes have come to a halt because of my BP problem. Anyways to get back to it, have u had any relief yet? My doc explained that it happens to most women since the pelvic area is getting softer and is stretching to accomodate the baby's journey so the joints become loose and hence the pain. And this will go away after delivery. But yes, so far its been tough specially when im sleeping and have to get up or change positions from left to right...its a KILLER!
Yesterday I went to this doc in my bldng to get my BP checked and she saw me hobbling after the check when i got up to leave, she told my hubby (NOW THIS MAY SOUND WEIRD!) that he should very gently massage this area with the flat of his fingers, we laughed initially but tried it anyways (ANYTHING TO HELP GET RID OF THIS PAIN!) ANd u know what?!!! It worked!!! Last night after so long i had so much relief....I was changing sides like a pro and getting up to go to the loo those 100 times in the night never seemed easier. So what the hell....you could give it a shot, and I hope it works for you! All the best!
