Dear Parents,

Please be aware and careful of a day care center in Bangalore called Baby' s Day Out.This is located in Basvanagar near HAL Helicopter Division.

I was cheated, with a sugar coated smile while dropping the child there. I was betrayed when i had to hear from my son that the same lady whom he used to call Paatti(Grandma) beat him on his head and shoulders for passing motion due to a bad stomach. I was shocked when the creche owner covered up the whole incident.

Let me recap. The day the incident happened, my husband picked up the child in the evening, the creche owner was about to complain to him like, ´ you know what your child did today?´ When my husband insisted on knowing, she said it is between my child and ´ Patti´ . But my husband noticed the terrified look in some of the maids face. Later when my husband asked my child, he narrated what happened.

We pulled out our child the next day itself, but did not speak with her, knowing very well how vehemently she will deny it. 10 days after the incident, she called up my husband and told, ´ sorry for whatever has happened to you and your child, stop hurting me´ Now I read this as ´ stop hurting my business´ . As the call came after I started posting the incident in this site. Now, if she is innocent, why did she apologise and let her son speak to my husband to ´ advise´ my husband that ´ kids some times lie´ and we as a parent need to take it with a pinch of salt.

I as a parent do not want any child to go through what my son has gone through. It hurts all the more when it is from some one on whom we used to have lots of trust and respect. This lady betrayed our trust and respect. akila replied. R these people running day care in india are qualified to do the job ? here in australia people will have to be qualified and licenced to do these courses . You have special courses for childrenservices.

No one even parents have any rite to abuse kids vrbly or physcly. who are these people abusing the kids ..wow ...!

I got your side of the story, will definitely look for other side of the story.

I have been to Baby' s day out for my daughter ( who is now 3 years now). The place is just one room play area. So, I really wonder how could you put 4 year boy in place like that.

Sometime back, one of my friend came to our apartment and narrated the story that her son ( about 3 years) also disliked the place. She came with her son and that guy made so much nuisance in our place ( like jumping in the sofa, switching on TV, throwing the remote), I was so much relieved when they left our place. We started sending our daughter to Baby' s day out, only when we heard that this guy stopped going there. And, I kept wondering how aaya' s in day care manage these kind of kids.

So, I know Baby' s day out is a small place and is not suitable for very active kids, who needs to be disciplined a little more.

Thanks for your post, I hope these kind of active kids may not come to baby' s day out and that will make our daughter' s stay much more comfortale in Baby' s day out.

Even we had some bad experience with this creche..I had put my son for almost 3 months there but he never liked to go there.. he used to tell me me that old lady beats/scolds/abuses him etc initially even i thought since he disliked the place he was bluffing.. later some small girls in the creche and one aaya told me that she keeps scolding him and is very rude.. she supresses active/naughty kids.. doesnt allow them to mingle with other kids..

This is not the episode of b' lore itself it happens everywhere.I was lucky that i didnot face such an experience bit my son was traumatized in the creche i left him in gurgaon.They tend to fill in the place like anything..and kids upto an yr shud b placed ina different place and then 1-2 and so on...i hunted and hunted for a gud place and then realised that no one can take care of my son better than me...guess what!!its an yr n a half now and i have dropped the idea of leaving my baby ..as i have started working from home...which is making my family more comfortable... Even I had gone to the same creche and the met old lady who calls herself \" Patti\" , and always wears a sweet smile on her face. I though she is good and my abby wiull like her...at that time she was just 6 months. The lady said that she would be more than happy to have a small child and would take utter care of my baby . However I saw a baby cry very badly after she saw her mother and didnt go to \" Patti\" after that...i smelt something fishy and didnt go there..but again as i had no other creche around i thought of leaving my daughter(16 months now ) with her...fortunately i came across your post and ive decided that i wont ever go there. I hope other parents also go through this beware of this creche. Thanks once again.
