Hi friends,

Been a long time since I wrote. I mean, just 3, 4 days and it seems like ages. I am for sure addicted to this board and to your posts.

Well, I guess its the falling down phase for our family. Won't believe if I tell this and you may also blast me... but... Rishi fell down from the cot!!! :((( Thank GOD nothing happend, but he cried non-stop for about 15 minutes and I was really having no clue what to do. Basically my legs and hands were trembling that I could not even hold him properly. I hugged him tight and cried with him!!! I Bfed him after he was a little ok and also gave him some crocin. He slept for 1 hour and then he was ok. Just the day before when me and Shyam went out to the store, I feel down slipping on a rope! ooof... can't handle all at a time!

Took him to the doc for his check-up and the doc said he is fine and he weighs 6.4kg now. Doc says its alright and she asked me to give him variety and start giving rice and dal. My MIL is against it and she says we can give rice only after a year!!! Donno what I am going to do.

He eats only one spoon of wheat kanji that we make at home and screams on the sight of cerelac and ragi. I feed him thrice in the day and twice at night. He also poops like he was doing in his first month... 3-4 times a day and little watery. I also give him tomato juice and mosambi.

So mom's gone home and in-laws are here. When I went home for lunch now, I had to bathe him, feed him and put him to sleep and rush back to office. Weekend was too tiring. Hectic is not the word. Taking care of Rishi and cooking/cleaning seems to be a great task. Was thinking of you all many times.

I am surprised about people thinking about swimming classes already. I thought Megha did it for sun. Are you moms serious about it. Was just telling about taking Rishi to a pool to my MIL and she laughed as if it was a joke!! One thing that I am so worried of is the serials that my MIL keeps watching with Rishi in her lap and he is happt watching when there are catchy music and sound. I cannot tell her about disorders and all that, she will ask me if she has not brought up kids at all!!! I can only pray, am so helpless.

My SIL will also be here from 13th and they all will be here till month end.

Rishi will be 6 months this Friday and is a total sweetheart except when he eats. Eating is a big issue.

Soooo sorry about Rishi's fall. But lik Sush said, its OK now that they are 6 months.. Only keep checking for a head-hit (if he is not able to focus on a rattle, or if he is refusing some water or the breast etc...)

My condition is also pathetic. My nanny is acting funny... She's not cleaning Kichu's bottles etc. properly and i found leftover cerelac on the nipple when i came from work. She's happily feeding him water from the same bottle. Aur usko nappy nahin tie karti 'coz she has to wash na?

Hey.. Rishi's loose stools are because of Tomato and Mosambi. My bro gives either of this to Arnu (thatt's his 6 month son) when he's constipated!! Please switch over to apple juice and instead of tomato, give him banana mashed..

Hope you werent hurt when you fell down. I'm taking Kichu to the temple in Bollarum every weekend... Only God is watching over him when i'm not there..

Hey Vani..dil pe mat le yaar...Tia has had 2 falls already..1 from the sofa & the other from the bed..kya kare..my doc told that as long as she remains conscious,can be distracted & eats & drinks well everything is ok..& my ma said that by now the head can & should take in the impact of minor falls since anyways aise he girte girte chalna etc seekhenge..!

I however remain worried b'coz of the possibility of soft neurological spots but I really can't be totally 100% sure that she is not doing such masti at aunty's place too..
btw what happened to the nahne wali bai you used to have ???
also try to slowly give him a bath in the evening when you return back from work so dono ke liye it will be a fun relaxed unhurried affair.. that's what I do..I give Tia a warm/cold water sponge in teh mornigndepending on teh weather & when I return back from work(5.0-6)ko I give her a tel maalish & bath..everyday even on weekends phele se hi..

also don't worry about the eating thing..emember the main nourishment is still milk so if that is ok then solids bhi Rishi seekh lega..
