Hi Guys,
I had my doc's appt this morning. I am 50%effaced and 1cm dialated. Baby has dropped and locked into pelvis. Doc said I am just doing fine.

I am also able to sleep from last two days for couple of hours. I hope it will be better in few more days.

Please do update with your situations girls. How are you all doing on effcaement/dialation process ?

I know only about Arshiya.

Arshiya you are in which week now ?

Ruchika Simmi replied. Hi Ruchika. Good to hear that your are feeling better and hope you r getting more sleep now.

I am due around the same time as Avi, though doubt I would have internal exams, so won't know about dialation etc till the d-day. Will check with the doc today, at my appointment.

Congrats ruchika,u have started the process,I feel hopeful now that mine also will start soon.MY baby has dropped down but no other achievements yet.I don't walk so much as u are doing.

I just had my doc's appt today also. And, I guess I was confused last time when she mentioned that I was effaced already 90%. Today, she said your cervix is still thick like last week, you were only 10% effaced. She said it has not improved since last time, so try walking a lot now if you want your baby in next 3 to 4 weeks. Baby has dropped down and head is in the pelvis.

I am in my 37th week, will be starting 38th soon. Baby is measuring fine and haven't gained any weight again. I think you and me are probably in the same week. Right?

So, I am little disappointed after seeing my doc cuz I am not effaced a lot only 10%. I guess I will try to be on walking marathon from now on:))

You are getting close, it's good to know that you have started both the processes.

Thank God that you are able to sleep and getting the much needed rest. I can't imagine not being able to sleep for six days.

I am still at 34th week, don't know when my internal exam would be done.

Glad to hear that you are finally feeling a bit relieved... I hope the cough is not bothering you too much either..

My doc said that she could feel the baby's head when she did the internal but no effacement/dilation yet...and she wont check again until the 39th week (unless it is needed for some reason)..so I wont know anything about any progress (if there is any).. :)
