my son is 14 months now.he started walkign abt 10 days b4 h is 1st bday.he started running recently.he smiles at everybody,says mamamama,papapa but not to us but just keeps baby talks,blabers to himself,plays with me,understands meanigns of a few words also but does not attempt to speak.
do u think he is slow in any way.
he knows when i say papa is cum then he runs to the door to hug him,the minute he hears my voice he comes runing to me.but does not speak .
so pls tell me if anyone facing this problem as i sumtimes worry for him not speaking.

From what you have told us, i think there's no need to worry at all. I think your son is not at all slow and doing fine. Every child is different and you can't judge their development by books.

My brother's sons' case was the same. He understood everything, spoke baby language but no proper words. He started saying words when he was 19-20 months old. Even now, at 24 months, he hasn't started speaking sentences.

And remember, Einstein din't speak till the age of three!
