Priya,

I have a problem with the rice thing too. I cook the khichdi, daal + rice in the pressure cooker...infact overcook it but still, when i try to hand blend it, the rice just doesnt blend well enuff and anushka is spittin the rice out.

Sheetal

Hi Priya,
Aryan too was having the same problem with the rice . I tried one of the suggestions given by one mom in one of earlier posts i dont remember which one . But basically what she does is soaks the rice for a little while dries it , roasts it and then powders it . While cooking just add the daal and the required quantity of rice to it. The consistency of the khichdi is great and Aryan has been eating it and also enjoying it ever since.

Hi Sheetal

Though the message is not to everyone but i guess i can help u out.

u pressure cook rice+dal with some extra water for 3-4 whistle. U need to grind it immediately after taking out from cooker. It will be very hot. U will get very fine smooth puree if u grind when its hot. after grinding u can wait for mild warm temp to serve.

I dont no abt the hand blender blades, but i do in mixie(smalljar).

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
