HI! I am mother to a seven month old baby. recently, his sleep pattern has undergone a chnage. he hardly sleeps during the day, and at night though he sleeps by 9.00, he is very uncomfortable. keeps getting up and cries. he has got into the habbit of sleeping on his stomach so is not comfortable in my lap also.
i have tried to wait for him to sleep on his own when he cries at night, but he just goes on and dosent sleep.
i am getting concerned about this. can anyone help please!!!!

Hi Ruchi
Lucky u, I m still trying. He has improved a lot. It may take some time I guess. Anyways, I m from India, Blore. What abt u? Let know what r u feeding ur little one and all his activities. my boy is a very inquisitive little fellow. He wants to know what everybody is doing. HE has not started sitting yet. He is rolling over and moving abt a bit. It feels good when u see ur little one doing things on his own.
Let me know abt ur baby.
bye

Hi Pia,
My Baby, Arnav has now started creating another kind of trouble. he just dosent want to have milk now. even at around 10:30, he just has half his feed. no he dosent get up at night but i feel that he is hungry.

I am from Delhi. he is now having milk from the mother dairy (dont know if it exist sin B'glore) na dat times, suji ki kheer, custard, Khichri, vege soup, nestum, cerelac. he only prefers sweet stuff, so it is a pain to get him to eat salty food.

Arnav has statred sitting and crawling. and ya i agree it is a pleasure to see him grow up. at times i dont want him to grow. since i ma working i feel i'm hardly spending time with him.

anyways, do keep in touch..
about the sleeeping prob, try giving a little more than waht u feed him normally before he sleeps at night. i give my baby roohafza water at night. try that. probably water has a flat taste and that is why he dosent like it.

keep in touch, Ruchi

I m also facing the same problem with my son who is 7 months. He gets up every 2 hrs and howls and screams once or twice I let him cry and he went on crying and he had coarse voice the next day. If u r breastfeeding him stop it and give only water if he gets up and continue this for sometime. I started doing looks like it may help. He slept through the night twice and he has started getting up again. I donot want to give up. I think v have to try to get them sleep thru the night. All the best.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
