Due Date Club August 2007:Fibroid pain

Hello all

Its been long time I had posted a message..I had my 5 month ultrasound 1.5 months back..The baby is fine and ITS A BOY.. I was very happy to see his movements and every single posture of his. Then came the news that I might be having fibroid..To those of you who are not familiar about this.. Its a muscle growth that happens in ur uterus..anywhere..say inside,outside..in fallopian tube.. They are not cancerous but they grow with ur hormones and blood flow.I dint have any of the symptoms of it before..Symptoms are heavy bleeding..severe cramps during normal periods etc.,..So the US person said that I have one and its not going to harm the kid as its lying outside(good thing that it was lying outside).. In most of the cases when we normally dont conceive..there are chances that we might be having this inside the uterus.. So i was tensed, as you all know..even if some one says its fine..you are never satisfied until u see the face of little one.

I spoke to my doctor and she said that she too had one during her preganancy. She also said that 90 of women have it and it does not cause any harm.I was convinced with her reply.. I was OK for 1.5 months and last week..i had pain in lower side of my abdomen..I went to labor and delivery..since they thot it might be pre term labor( I was sure that my boy is not going to come out so soon)..Still had the full experience of delivery..they monitored me for 2 hrs and said that it was his head thats pressing my bones..So i came back..But this pain started to grow for the next couple of days..I could not walk..so after 2 days once again went to hospital and my doctor said its because of fibroid..Actually it had grown a bit and since it couldnt get the blood supply, it started degenerating..they cannot do anything now as it depends on hormones..She gave me some pain killer,,But i didnt want to have it.since all these medicines will go to ur kid..I just beared the pain for 2 days and luckily it subsided. I still have this pain sometimes.. I am just trying to be normal..I am happy that he is happily enjoying inside my womb and kicking me.

I just wanted to share this to all of you..Not to scare you all but to just to let you know that there are cases like this during pregnancy.. We come to know about lot during these 9 months..each experience is unique..But always be optimistic..Once we see that lil ones face we will not remember anything that happenend.I pray that all of you have very safe pregnancy and healthy kid..

Hmm..what a big mail..Keep posting gals

Take care
Lalitha

Subject:  fibroid pain and shrinking fibroids naturally

It is really astonishing the various health problems that can be helped by natural remedies. I was enduring pain from fibroids and was planning surgery or embolisation. I have been following a natural treatment plan and my fibroids have shrunk. I am almost pain free. I have discovered that there are natural, dietary and holistic treatments for fibroids. These remedies can shrink fibroids naturally and put an end to long standing discomfort. Many could be helped by this treatment.

Please see this website: Fibroid pain

See the link on the site to an e-book which is extremely well researched and gives tons of information on shrinking fibroids naturally. I was doubtful at first but the advice has helped me enormously and I also feel much healthier. I have also lost weight!
Regards Helen

Thanks for sharing your experience of fibroid with us. It was very interesting and informative especially to those who have been diagonised with fibroid during the pregnancy. As I have fibroid inside the uterous, came to know how to deal with the pain if it is caused by fibroid.
