Thanks a ton for all ur wishes.
Myself and my babies are doing fine.
They were born on Sep 7, and it was a very nice nakshatram(star) that day. We named them Nisha and Neha. They are exactly a week old today.
I had a very nice BabyShower on Sat night. I was on bedrest still Venu and my parents did it all and I jus came down for 2-3hrs and went back to bed. Sun morning my water broke and I didnt even know that I thot I was urinating :)
But I started having very very painful periods like cramps coming on and off and it really made me yell and shout it was that painful. Mom knew it might be labor pain and we all went to the hospital. They checked and told me I am 1cm dialated. I was lil worried and scared that I have to deliver, I was in my 36th week only.
In 10 min my doc came and told I am 3cm. The pain was not too bad, jus periods like but painful.
They gave me epidural in 2 min and in 10 min I was pain free. I can feel the contractions but no pain. After like 7-8hrs I think, I was 10cm dialated, slowly I cud feel pain. Doc took me to labor room and told to push, its more fear than pain. Its just like passing stool, thats what they want in pushing. Nisha came out in 20-30 min of pushing I think. After 5 min even Neha was almost out but doc saw the cord coming in her way and immediately did an emergency csec. It was too difficult for me first 2 dys. But by 3/4 dys I was ok.
Babies are doing fine, even though I still feel that my pregnancy shld have extended some more.
I am back to normal too almost. Feeding and chaging them and adjusting to new life. Its reallly so nice and wonderful feeling, u all will experience soon.

I know being twin moms is hard work but i think one look at their faces would just give u all the energy back.
Thanks for sharing ur experience. 8 hours seems to be quite shorter time period and u did dilate too fast.
I hope breastfeeding experience is going fine too adn hope u are able to remember which baby u already fed..are u getting confused already?? it will be fun..dying to see our baby too now.
Congratulations to both of u from both of us, my husband was so overwhelmed seeing the two baby pictures. WE wish u the best times ahead with them.
